Summer Fun 2010

In July, we went camping with our church. We didn't get a lot of photos, but this is one we did get. It was really hot and humid (hence the curls!!). It was a great weekend for sure!


The day we came home from camping was still really hot. John got the hose going with the girls and they had so much fun. It was hilarious watching Rachel get her daddy! I'll add that video for you . . . Sarah's baggy shorts are pretty funny too.

Sarah's 1st Birthday Party!

Sarah's party was quite a bit of fun! Lots of cousins, swimming, food!!

. . . but this is all the dirtier I got. I got a little tired and cranky and I didn't want to stay in my chair. (So no good pictures of Sarah with cake in her hair or anything! - oh well. Maybe we will do it again in a month or two and see what happens!


Notice the frosting on John's face - Yes, since Sarah didn't dig her face into her cake, he took a big bite out of his own!

John ran a 1/2 marathon in Champaign, IL - sorry didn't get any good pics of John running, but this is us getting diapers changed and dressed after the run - love the mini for this reason. Rachel loves putzing around in the van.

Spring Pics - April 2010

Yeah, I'm finally caught up and doing current pics.

Sarah after bathtime is incredibly fun - she loves being wrapped up in a towel and cuddled!

One day, Rachel decided to lounge in Sarah's carseat. Funny for a couple of reasons - first Rachel doesn't fit and thought she was cute (which she was). Sarah thought it was funny because she was trying to figure out why Rachel was in her seat!

This was the best part - this was incredibly funny. Caught this on video when she did it, I started taping because Rachel was rocking back and forth and singing. Little did I know what she was about to do. Unfortunately, I stopped the video right away to make sure she was fine - which I would have kept it going because the 2 started laughing!
